Team India captain Virat Kohli has expressed his displeasure over the loss in the first ODI against Australia here yesterday. He blamed the team's fielding failures on a lack of body language for their defeat in the first ODI.
Speaking after the match, Kohli said, "We fielded badly. Fielding made mistakes as if something was tired. Mainly after 25 overs our fielding was very disappointing. Fielding is very important when playing with a quality team.
A similar humiliation can occur at the hands of a good team if the fielding is not done properly. We have Hardik Pandya in the team but he is not fit to bowl yet. Stoinis and Maxwell are bowling all-rounders in the Aussies squad. "It is unfortunate that we have not achieved fitness in terms of bowling despite Hardik," he said.
