Team India interim captain Ajinkya Rahane has achieved another rare feat. Rahane has earned a place opposite the Giants on the 'Honors Board' at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. This is the second time that Rahane's name has been added to the MCG Honors Board.

The BCCI has shared a video clip of the Australian ground staff inscribing its name on the prestigious Honors board on Twitter. Rahane's name was first added to the Honors‌ board in 2014. Rahane scored 147 in the match that ended in a draw in the MCG. Virat Kohli made 169 at the same ground and made his name on the Honors Board.

Players from touring teams will have their Test centuries or at least five wickets added to the Honors‌ board. The third Test between the Aussies and India will be played in Sydney from January 7.
